This is quick tutorial for getting started with Arduino and ESP8266 NodeMCU.
NodeMCU is an open source IoT (Internet of Things) platform.
We will learn how to install Arduino package for ESP8266 WiFi chip in Arduino IDE.
We will run “basic LED blink” example to blink onboard LED and/or externally connected LED at pin D0 or GPIO-16.

Instructional videos are better when the author is SPEAKING. Kinda hard to follow along when music is playing and you're just flashing the device around and the text is horrible as it's hard to see, white on beige.

Did you connect the esp-12E via any special sort of USB connector as I did already have the steps you efficiently showed in this video but keep getting the same error when trying to upload and wondered if it might be that its getting 5v from the USB connection rather than 3-3.6v?
I tried it on Win 10 and 7 laptops and a Ubuntu desktop
all say espcomm_open failed and the windows devices say com1 Ubuntu says
cannot access /dev/ttyS0 witch i don't seem to be able to do anything about in the terminal?
