Yushin RCII-150 Full-Servo Traverse Robot + Quick-Change Tool

This cell features an RCII-150 robot on a Fanuc injection molding machine. The robot is utilizing Yushin’s new quick-change tooling system. This system integrates all electric and pneumatic connections allowing for rapid, automatic changing of tools – even during the molding cycle – to maximize the servo robot’s productivity. In the video, the RCII robot utilizes EOAT #1 to extract parts from the mold, release the runner, and place parts at the staging point. Then the robot automatically disengages EOAT #1 and picks EOAT #2 to repack parts in alternating vertical and horizontal orientation so they can be densely populated in the tray. This cell also utilizes Yushin’s E-Force ionizer unit to eliminate static build-up, and a Yushin tray-handling system to maximize productivity.
