Just FYI…In his version, the COMBINE command [he uses to create the threads in the nut] is located in the Mold Tools tab and easy to find. BUT if you have a newer version, the COMBINE icon is nested down in the INSERT/FEATURE pulldown menu (when in a PART, not an ASSEMBLY).
You really dislike this person, don't you. No-one asked for your opinion, stop going around and dismissing the legitimacy of this video. It isn't wrong just because it is not the way YOU do it. You are the real disgusting one.

I can't find the combine feature 😩 SW16
very useful, thanks a lot.
the best bolt and nut animation tutorial for beginers , thanks a lot my freen.
It is realy strange tutorial. 1. All this magic numbers, where did you get them, and where can one find them for other types of threads? 2. Why did you ignore the interference? What is the cost of the whole work if bolt and nut are not compatible after all?! Don't you think that there should be some space between their threads to make them work? This is certainly not for 3d printing… And I'm not sure what it is certainly for…
thanks

FINALLY. I FIGURED OUT THE SWEPT CUT.I was using this as a guide for another bolt, but the sketch used to cut the thread was to large. I'll go back and adjust the dimensions to get a better sweep cut groove.
Thread cutting ain't what it used to be!
Nice tutorial..

Can you sketch a gimbal for mobiles?
great work man but how much space must be between bolt and nut in order for the bolt to fit smoothly in a nut for example the nut must be 0,5mm larger than bolt or how you calculate this space because if its for 3d print there will be an issue.
Thanks
Thank you, I hope it was great full.
