Black head fixed to vertical bevel gear has two degrees of freedom:
– Rotation around vertical axis (controlled by the right step motor).
– Rotation around horizontal axis (controlled by both step motors). Their directions and speeds must be identical.
It’s a spherical mechanism (axes of all five revolution joints are concurrent).
Both motors are grounded.
