It was a relief the mangaka able to end it on a happy note. I start reading from the middle then stop at the middle mainly cuz i'm busy and don't feel to commit to another series then be disappointed like Prince of Tennis. But when I saw [END] after chapter 62 title, I give it a shot read from first chapter cuz I can binge read it all in one day. Didn't knew it was from the same mangaka that made Kuroko no Basket, that surely drive me to read it all thru.
So you may know this already, but the series been axed 2 times. First is the high school timeskip, and obviously this timeskip.
The high school era would probably be team building of EIAI members, developing robo skills, new challenge like how to deal w/ injuries, leading to inevitable robo, the emperor, and the uncrowned ace showdown at the grand high school tournament where the emperor won, 3rd years graduated, that's it. Only last for a year then timeskip to robo pro debut.
Japan pro era surely continuing matchup after ginrou match, new characters that's been teased eventually be flashed, match against rion/karasuma/suzaku. suzaku won the tourney, robo finds another way to get to major championship, and sure he did. Finally to US Open in a tourney w/ Youzan for the first time.
Of course tidbits inbetween like more "iconic" move like serpent bite be introduced, to get to US Open "ex-laser" finally combined w/ his "laserbeam" back in hs to be "x laserbeam", is something happen to robo's dad that he quit golf?, and much more.
get your self together bro, it feels like when your starting to invest on interest on the manga instead of reading it for the respect and curiousity to the author who create a very good basket ball manga , i feel incomplete, me too i want more… i;m starting to blame my self for hating it because of the slow phase… and i'm glad your weak heart tears touches mine 🙂 Glad to know someone like you exsist thanks
Everything just felt cut too short
