A proper bumblefuckery session. I hooked up a pressure transducer and two magnetic switches for time the cylinder stroke. Then I fought the Valve and the Valve won. Thank you for your help! http://www.Patreon.com/AvE

Dear Dr Bumblefuck. Today I cromulated my thick skull while going through 30 years of half-assed wiring in my car and figured out you can continuity check unknown cables to figure out where they went. I hope you're proud since I figured thanks to you. I will compliment you with a burnout in your honor if the day ever comes when I get to start the jeezless thing!
I'm interested to see your take on the Bosch green drill press, it magically changes speed with but the turn of a dial!
Like the knobs on your Rigol
Worked with that shit in Manufacturing at a GM plant. I dont miss working with that shit eather. When the gremlins invaded the damn equipment, it was like chasing a mouse through a hotel sometimes. My boss liked using a hammer…on pnumatics and microswitches( idiot). After retooling, those multi million dollar machines got carted outback and ignored like an overaged hooker. I used to strip them out for usable parts. GM didnt care, to them they were obsolete, they told is to crush them. I usually picked them clean, then boxed the parts. I will never know where all those parts went after I left. ,probably dumpster.
Boltr on tape measures?? Also I'm a heating guy and would love a boltr on a pro press gun 😁😁😉😉😉
Please review a Bostitch impact driver for shots and giggles
The fuckin god damn cussing is getting fucking ridiculous, tone it the fuck down for frick snakes
Barmaid.. Get me my sticktion….
https://youtu.be/3ya8fxm89jk Check this tool out! It uses induction to heat up the rusted bolt for easy removal!
these videos get a new dimension when played in 0,5x speed 😀
Why would you not use limit switches in this application to use pilot air to tell the piston when to extend and when to retract? Seems like it would be cheaper and would eliminate the need for pixies. Love the vids!
AvE, if you used two different resistors for the reed switches and keep them in parallel, you should be able to differentiate between the two by which current you expect.
How do I make a contribution? Im willing to throw in some freedom bucks to keep the vids going!
Peeling back the fore skin.. Lmao
Please do a review on the Mini-Ductor by Venom. Looking to buy one and looks to have plenty of angry pixies
Watching this reminds me of being 15 in high school studying Tech Studies. My class project was air operated pneumatics. And low and behold it didn't work. My teacher had me replace the parts but concluded it was my fault the project failed. I was sure my theory was perfect so spent a week of lunchtimes trouble shooting the issue. Turns out the air compressor supplying half the class was reading over pressure and exhausting all the benches. But the teacher didn't have a clue
You could fix the lab bench power supply by changing the diode in the connector
In my experience those Legris fittings seal when hand tight without Teflon tape. Although, you might not have as much luck with those since the threads probably got pretty chewed up when you wrenched on them.
Reed relays are tricky to work with. The leading and trailing edge of the magnetic flux lines hit the switch and can cause multiple switch closures. An optical interrupter sensor will be much more precise. A flag passing passed the sliver of light in the interrupter will give you more precision in your measurements also
so can this be transformed into a low pressure hydraulic cylinder?
Holy shit kid, have a sandwich.
Any word of the EDM machine? Has she chooched her last?
I learned and laughed holy hell did I laugh.
Bet I know whose wee one is going to win the science fair. Forever.
"If we take a look at the conveniently, easy to wipe away, label!"
We like it
I'm a nobody. But you are like a radio host with brains and funny ass hex. Keep on the vijiao train
For pneumatic equipment I would recommend either SMC or Festo. Numatics is okay too, but global leaders are those two. Their products are really good also.
Did you try to mount the reed switches directly to the cylinder? Normally on air cylinders there is a magnet built into the back end of the piston to allow them to be actuated through the body of the cylinder.
Uncle Bumblefuck… Thank You
Heya AvE, Can a transducer be connected to the exhaust port of the valve to power the solenoid, or something else?
That way you are capitalizing on wasted air.
Just a theory, please advise.
Ha Ha you had one end of the 5/3 valve 180 degrees out. It gets its air from a port coming out of the body of the valve hence the leak.
Great video! Thanks
for fs sakes, fkn, fk u, …😂🤣 frog snacks… LoL
