POSITIONER CALIBRATION
CALIBRATION.
The goal of calibration, or alignment, is to ensure that the positioner is functioning correctly with in design tolerances.
The basic calibration process consists of three steps:
I. Bench set confirmation
II. Feedback linkage alignment, including cam alignment
III. Zero and span adjustment
IV. Inline or Online Calibration.
