How to make a Giant BristleBot using cloth washing brush

A giant bristlebot using cloth washing brush is a project built with creative idea considering the concept of robotics. This project features a self moving brush that can be used in cleaning residential floors. It is handy and easy to handle since the size is based on standard washing brush.

This project is built using a cloth washing brush with basic circuit attached on the top. This basic circuit has DC motor while its rotor tip has custom attachment that served as weight. This weight generates movement together with the motor body as the motor is switched ON and the brush where it is attached will also have movement. Since brush tips are bouncy as it touched the surface, together with the movement of the brush body generated by the motor will help the cloth washing brush to move around. It is supplied by a 9V battery with a toggle switch for ON/OFF.

This project is applicable for basic residential floor cleaning considering minor modifications for more specific floor cleaning application. It can also be a simple robot that moves around on its own while having some decor on it.
