Autonomous Drifting using Machine Learning
|Autonomous Drifting using Machine Learning
We’ve developed a new framework for reinforcement learning, a subset of machine learning. This video shows the framework applied to an autonomous RC car that learns to drift around a truck.

What is "observed data" part? Sensors? Video camera in room? Accelerometers?
All hail gradient descent
This not machine learning, it's just a complex for loop. Bull shit vibrating slow voice doesn't make you super smart!
OMG
Sooo you basically did an AI Ken Block?
I thought of learning machine algorithms and go back to past ,just to show off 😁
Maintaining the drift with the moving car just blew my mind!
So cool
cool
Max respect!
Where can I buy this car? It’s cool
But an it autonomously play Deja Vu?
hi, my name is ken block v2
I had this very cool Idea, only to find out it has been done. Not fair MIT. 🤔
Which simulator did you use at 0:38.
Cool af
But scary af
Now make a car drift in a circle and have another car drift around that one.
The under-light @1:30 is very nice for regular street cars too.
It helps with visibility a lot.
Now we can win races on race day like they win video game speed runs with TAS – Tool Assisted Speedrun. They just code the controls into a computer frame-by-frame but this is one step better. Less exact maybe but I bet this software could be modified to produce the optimal racing line around any track and exactly how to maneuver it, possibly. It's a little different, but similar.
BEST!
Looks like Ken Block is inside
what's the music in the second half?
Well, to become the drift king, you now gotta fight it out with a mean, reinforcement-trained machine. I think we just found the next storyline for Fast & Furious m/
this thing goes dumb at the sideshow
So did he get the chicks number in the end?
where is the paper?
2:18 "I'm not touching you…"
You putted Ken block in a software wow
