|Animation | How schematic symbols for control valves is derived | How 3 position 4 port valve works.
This is a very simple animated illustration on the basics of hydraulic schematic symbols. In this topic we are talking about how the hydraulic schematic symbol for control valve is derived. Here we have taken the example of a three position four ports valve and explained with the help of an animation. In this animation you can clearly learn how we name the positions of the control valves and the ports in the schematic representation and will help you to read any type of control valves.
The is the part one video on control valves, there is some more information to be shared on the control valves, regarding it been actuated, which will be uploaded in our next video.
We have also managed to include a simple animation on how the control valve works and how each ports of the control valve support the hydraulic oil flow in this video. The learning of schematic symbols is a very important part of industrial hydraulic. The technical, pictorial representation of the hydraulic circuit is through schematic symbols. It’s mandatory for a hydraulic engineer to learn the basics of the schematic symbols. Many complicated hydraulic troubleshooting can be simplified by having a sound knowledge on hydraulic circuit reading.
We will be uploading more technical tutorial videos related to hydraulic and schematic symbols in the coming days will be also uploading some example troubleshooting videos. So don’t forget to subscribe and miss the updates.

pls make plc ladder programming Tutorial videos
How about if you want to control 2 double acting cylinders both at the same time, that work in opposite directions to each other? E.g. cylinder A extending while cylinder b is retracting and vice versa? What connections are needed, and how many valve ports and positions are required to do this?
Very helpful, accurate and explained simply. Kudos!
sir how we will understand about displacement and variable displacement pumps?
How are the arrow head directions determined sir
please speak slower next time, thanks. Tho, very good vid. helped me a lot
I dont know why people keep complaining about the language. For me it was very clear and understandable. Improve your language or thank him for the effort. I'm almost certain if you cannot understand him then you yourself don't speak in a "clear accent" whatever that is
great explanation, thanks! very easy to understand!
THE way you pronounce valve 😉
Shitty.
Please elaborate more clearly
dear sir I have one doubt how to selected valve and cylinder size example 500 ton press

Nice thanks bro I can understanded easily by u then our sir
Nicely explained and simple to understand, thank you sir.
I took the trouble to read the comments of others, I am amazed that some 'engineers' could be so thick, or perhaps they're simply just stupid? Keep up the good work sir, here is one enlightened engineer.
we need linear hydraulic actuator (cylinder) with sketch drawing.

I hate this accent.

what would a three way three position Pneumatic DCV look like?
I am Electronics and Telecomm Engineer currently working in Schwing Stetter and this helps alot to understand Concrete Pump hydraulic circuits.
Don t understand a word
Biggest mistake is numbering that do not follows any ISO standard. 1 is always supply, 2 & 4 are always working line and 3 & 5(for 5 port DCV) are alway exhaust.
thankful to you allah blessings you …!!!
I need ladder diagram program – how totransfer or install to the plc.
l required a base mounted 24 V 3/2 way valve
Nothing i understood
so helpful but if you can help can you recommend me some references for the hydraulic circuit, please?
Why the flow paths are crossed in position 3
Great presentation, learned a lot. Thank you so much
Thank you
Plz stop repeating. And instead of reading what is written with a crappy pronunciation please explain the working
thanks, i understand
Can you please create a circuit for overhead crane operated hydraulically?
Good explanation, videos are easy to understand
thanks that is what i really want to know
Good job, thanks for the explanation.
thanks a lot
Thank you
Plz solve some logic in pneumatics
Thanks for the presentation it's helpful
Good work… Can you differentiate hydraulic pump and hydraulic motor…with structure and purpose
