which solenoid valve have you used ?and what is the cost ?
Whats the problem if I connect the ground pin to negative?
Hi, great video and explanation. Could you please tell me what solenoid valve you used in this demonstration?
Thank you very much for posting this! Helped a lot, I was losing my mind on the correct way to wire mine.
Confusion on your instructions. At one point you talk about a red and black wire connection only and then later you mention a black, white, and ground. I never saw any video on that or to where it was supposed to be. Can you clarify??
Thanks for the demonstration! What AWG was used for the DC connection?
what is the problem create if i use the 24v quil
Hello, I have a similar valve but not exactly from STCValves. Mine has 3 places for wires. If i am only using 12v DC then do I wire it with just the positive and negative? Thanks!
Thank goodness about this video. I recently bought solenoid valves (from some other brand, but same style), and those morons don't seem to have a manual that explains the pinouts of the pins. In fact, the whole internet (ie. google search) doesn't seem to show up much at all in terms of explaining to everybody what each pin actually is. The most amount of help I see is from this particular video on this page.
The post reply below from 'stcvalves' is great…..namely "Hi Owen — thanks for the question. Our DIN connections have the ability to connect to both AC and DC solenoid coils. For DC coils, there will be a red (positive) and a black (negative) wire. For AC coils, there will be a black (hot) wire, a white (neutral) wire, and often a third wire for Ground."
One extra comment that I can leave here is – the pin numbers (marked on the device) are generally hidden from normal view, and only reveal themselves after the circuit-board compartment is pulled out (removed). Thanks stcValves for making this video.
Cani connect this wih rasberry pi 3 board?
Great Tutoring, Thanks..
what gauge wire are you using?
thanks! took me so long to take out the housing. didn't know it was this easy to push from inside. stupid me. lol
Thanks
Everything is ok , but where is that white and block wires , where these have to connect ..please give reply to me
