Such a good job done. He has done his homework guys!
Such a nicely edited vidoe. Clear valuable and well organized information.
Thanks! Just got an amp for Christmas and was completely clueless until seeing this video! But I have an aux in and a head phones port, is the auxiliary in so I can plug it into my phone or a computer?
The model is Fender Frontman 10G.
Thank you.

First free lesson:
– Don't watch garbage like this. Instead, experiment a lot. Do stupid things.
Talk to people in real life. Invest time. Listen to your favourite artist,
dig what gear was used to record those music.
Be diverse. Open your mind. Be ambitious. Play live whenever you can.
Always try to watch closely what's guitarist play live and gear they using.
There will be many traps on your way.
This "instructor" can't even tune his instrument properly.
It's just scum. He want your wiev time and to buy this particular amp.
Excellent Lesson
@6:32 how my brain went after this…
beginner btw
That's the incorrect way to get a metal tone.
1. You play on the clean channel, not the overdrive. Your distortion pedals cover the drive for you, without muddying up your tone.
2. Never. I repeat. NEVER, scoop your mids, as they are the foundation of your tone. Without mids, your attempt at a metal tone will sound thin and weak when you go to mix.
Mind you, while there is no right or wrong way to find your own tone, what I've listed are the fundamentals to start with when finding your own metal tone specifically.
What are the things that you twist called (such as drive or level) I need to get new ones, some are missing and don’t know what they are called
it is an OUTPUT jack on the guitar please teach people right ..
That was helpful thank you. My only question is it best to leave amp tone setting steady and then control tone from guitar knob or leave guitar knob tone at a steady and adjust tone on amp. I have a micro cube and there just one tone knob and then effects and reverb there isn’t separate knobs for base treble etc. but there are different amp settings such as clean Brit combo metal rock so it’s confusing whether to leave gain and tone alone and go wit amp settings and whether to set amp tone and adjust guitar knob tone or opposite if that makes any sense
This is bullshit
Do you have the whys of these settings? So I can use my amp with style.
I forgot the model number of that Epiphone, thought I would have remembered it, as you mentioned it so Fucking often!
This one work on semi acoustic guitar? With pickup?… Anyone replay plz
Is there an overview how I can setup my AMP to get typical amp settings for specific famous songs? Like you showed in the beginning with your amp settings for specific music styles. That would be so helpful. I am totally overchallenged with all those things I can change on my AMP
3:40 That’s fucking badass
Epiphone les Paul? Shame on you for not getting a Gibson
Like many guitarists watching this video who are not just starting out but came to see this for sheer entertainment purposes and to chime in with their own advice, I've got a couple points of my own.
1. If you're just starting out, quit now. Return your Epiphone combo pack and go take a Chinese class or something. If there is no going back, please continue.
2. Congratulations on keeping your Epiphone and beginning your foray into the saturated world of mediocre rock guitar. The money is little, the women are few, and the chances you'll succeed at this endeavor are next to none. Come back to this comment in a month, realize the mistake you've made, and pawn your now reduced-value gear for gas money. If there is still no going back, please continue.
3. While Epiphone guitars have been associated with such big names as Wayne Static and CJ Pierce (Drowning Pool), you'll be lucky if your Chinese-made Epiphone will withstand so much as the weekly back and forth to band practice and your monthly pay to play gigs at Scruffy's Bar & Grill. Keep spare screws and a Phillips screwdriver handy, as you will notice more and more mysterious holes in your Epiphone the longer you play it. Oh, and upgrading your parts won't magically increase the value of your guitar. Your chances of a solid return on your investment are better at the "free" fix and flip convention coming to your hometown next week. If this doesn't bother you, please continue.
4. If you've gotten this far, realize that tone recommendations are shit and you're better off figuring out for yourself what works for you. While scooped, saturated metal tones may have worked well for Pantera and Metallica, they have also not worked out so well for local bands running their Line 6 heads on the "Insane" setting. You're better off smoking meth than wasting money on a Line 6, but I digress.
Guitar may not get you money or laid or anything, really, and the hours of dedication and frustration wasted on material no one will want to hear, anyway, will seem eternally fruitless. But at least you have a hobby, right?
What about punk rock settings for a guitar amp
I couldn’t understand half of his words

Are all input jacks on a guitar the same?
Best tutorial on YouTube
This is the most important guitar lesson I've ever had, it was my first
Where is the eleven?
MORE GAIN, NO MIDS = METAL m/
The jack on the guitar is an OUTPUT jack not input. You don’t send a signal into the guitar. You failed in the first few seconds of your video.
Wellp. regardless the content, I love the video. haha
Hi Mark. Can a usual electric guitar amplifier, like this, be advisable for acoustic electric and semi hollow for jazz? Or should I buy specific amp for each. Or is there an amp that can work for electric guitar, acoustic electric ans semi hollow? Thanks!
The only thing I’d add to this tutorial (since it’s for beginners) is to clarify which knobs on the les Paul control which pickup… good video though! Ty
That red guitar has such a scary aura
