Learn to be an effective troubleshooter, by teaching you to think the same way PLCs do.
These subjects are typically covered in the first few hours of the 40 hour long PLC Boot Camp course. The class room teaching is done with challenging hands-on exercises that ensure you retain what you learn.
These videos focus on the PLC-5, SLC-500, and Micrologix series. There are also PLC Boot Camp classes for the ControlLogix platform.

sold! where i work,, i sometimes get to look into the micrologix, but under our quality policy, i am not allowed to touch it…. i love the pace of this video. no time to goof off or get distracted.
Ron is the Best , if you could train with him for 2 Months you would easily make over 120k a year, I had 5 days with this MTF and I have never learned so Much, Thanks Ron ( MTF is meant with Respect )
Very good !
did he assign a input address as output? why would you do that?
So, would it be correct to assume that since the rung with switch B being an input for switch A was added between the original rungs, that the bottom light will only come on when both switch B and A are on?
I don't see why people would think both lamps would be on. This is my first time seeing allen bradley and it is very similar to assembly language as it relies on a sequence with no breaks unless you manually set them. It basically reads E = A, A = B, A = F. Lamp E is on because A was initially 1 (on). Lamp F is off because after the top ladder rung A is set to 0(off) because it equals B which is 0(off).
That intro
I loved that you included and explained the misconceptions so clearly and comprehensively. A lot of my classmates thought that mistaken way too until I showed them this video.
hi friends i want a help from you… i want a program and ladder diagram and a design for low cost automation using heavy vehicle …help me please i am begineer

Many people would agree

RS 500 and Kinetix 300 servo drive ???
make a video for ML1400 and kinetix servo
Good video but Ron does not know how to teach. "Many people say…" Should be a drinking game!
Well, thats ten minutes I'll never get back. Ten minutes of explaining that what you expect to happen doesn't but no explanation of why. He's selling something, fair enough, but if you want to give me a sample, give me the sample don't just show the wrapper.
The kick-ass real American generation! nice flag
Hello YouTube Friends!
I work for Leprino Foods, the world's largest producer of mozzarella and one of the leading producers of whey and lactose. I am looking to hire a PLC Controls Technician for our plant in Greeley, CO (about an hour outside of Denver), and an Industrial Controls Technician for our plant in Allendale, MI (about 25 miles outside of Grand Rapids). We do offer relocation for both of these roles. If interested, feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn, https://www.linkedin.com/in/mikeyweil/, or email me at mweil@leprinofoods.com
We also offer relocation for these roles!

I though I was the only one who was very annoyed with the use of "many people" so often.

The only misconception is the sequence in which the PLC executes things. For the example this guy gives, the result does not reflect the real outcome because he starts in the middle rung and jumps around. Basic PLC I/O and execution goes in this sequence:
1) Read all inputs. (in his example, the state of Switch A and B are read)
2) Execute all rungs LINE by LINE, LEFT to RIGHT. (in his example, the second rung changes the value of "Switch A" and by the time you execute the third rung "Switch A" can have a different value than it did when the first rung was executed, hence the output is different.
3) Send all output signals.
Greetings from automationtrader.com team!
Please put the automatic and manual mode ladder diagram.
First off, great video.
Next I would like to ask you a few questions and would like to know if you could email me?
My email is shane.welcher@yahoo.com
I look forward to hearing from you and think this would be in the best interest for both of us, it is only an email so no worries about wasting time.
Again, I would love to hear from you.
