can you say me , what is the nominal voltage (AC) under neutral (N) cable and signal . You ever tried to measure ? Thx

I have split inverter 1.5 ton Sharp A/C.
I have 7/.44 two wires coming from the main circuit board. Live and Neutral. The Live is connected to a 20amp circuit breakerin the main circuit board.

This is a running unit, but i need to change my inner wiring and install a new 2 pole circuit switch for it, so i can turn both L and N off rather than only turning L off and N is still going into the unit through wire.

Right now, the Neutral from the main Circuit board is directly connected to the inner unit wire which is hanging from outside the wall and Live wire is connected to a single polar circuit switch inside the room.

I plan of buying a new Two Pole Circuit Switch inside the room and connect the both 7/.44 wires (L and N) to it and then i need to take two wires outside the wall and connect with inner unit wires which is hanging outside.
Now do i need 7/.44 wires or can i go for 7/.29 or even 7/.36??
